"As a kid, I had hours and hours of music videos recorded on VHS from MTV. I was marveled with the concepts, the techniques, the performances... Imagine a ten year old kid watching Rabbit in Your Headlight by UNKLE, and saying to himself: Fuck it! This is what I want to do".
Duck's early work comes from the underground music scene of his native Bogotá. It was very common to see this guy snapping pictures in the middle of a mosh pit, or sneaking his way into his friends shows as a "roadie" just to take pictures or videotape the show. That is how Duck ended up making his first music videos for local bands like Desorden Social, Insxane, El Sagrado, and Pr1mal.
Duck's crush on video took him to attend the Visual Media school at Politécnico Grancolombiano (Bogotá 2008), and Art Direction for Film summer program at Central Saint Martins (London 2010). After that, Duck started working at FOX-Telecolombia as Production Runner and Production Coordinator (a) for shows like Mental (USA 2008), and Burn Notice (USA 2011).
In 2014, while living in the United States, Duck's work was picked and featured By Moby for his single "Almost Home" (Innocents 2014). Since then, Duck has been working with artists like Charles X (USA), Crystalynn (USA), The Riddims (USA), Dremon (USA), Donna Dunne (Ireland); as well Great States, Ace Harper, and Matt Sorum (Guns and Roses,Velvet Revolver) (Under Khool Media, inc).
Duck's videos have been finalists and honored in many international music video competitions for artists like Other Lives, Damon Albarn, and Galantis.
As January 2017 Duck is working on the new music video single "A Softer Sound" for the Washington DC based electronic duet Eric & Magill.
